Casa Girasole Bed & Breakfast

You will be welcomed to Casa Girasole by us, Karin and Bruno Lappa. As you can see from the photo, there is also Gem, our border collie, and Luna, the cat who adopted us….

After 20 years living and working in England as a computer engineer, Bruno has returned to his Italian roots, more specifically to his old family house in the village of his parents, now restored as both home and Bed & Breakfast. Bruno loves the area, where he spent a lot of time when he was younger, exploring it far and wide - which he continues to do.

Karin has had several different careers in England, latterly working as a hypnotherapist. She loves to travel, to sing and write, and is always drawn back somehow to Italy, the country where she met Bruno, along with some of her closest friends, over 30 years ago, in an Irish pub, in Rome - but that's another story!

As well as sharing our lives, over the years we have also shared our homes in England with language students, lodgers, family and friends, who have told us we have a gift for making people feel welcome and comfortable, for taking care of them. So now we want to use that skill, combined with Italian hospitality, to extend the warmest of welcomes to you, our future guests, whether you stay only one night as you are traveling, or plan a longer stay to explore and enjoy the area.
